Ridiculous experience from the great BYJU’S !! (byjus.com)
My daughter doing her schooling in Kerala was informed by the Byju’s team that she is eligible for a scholarship from Byju’s after some evaluation conducted by them. Sales team came home and told my wife and daughter that she will be benefited to subscribe their combo package for 9th and 10th standard contents including a tablet for INR 35,000/- while their actual price is INR 45,000/-. The offer will finish within 2 days (Emotional black mailing!!!)
Both were happy and they listened to that as a token of appreciation from Byju’s and informed me about the same. As part of due diligence, I just had a chat with the Byju’s website online support and checked the price – they offered the same for INR 32,000/-. Yes, Rs.3000/- less without the so called wonderful SCHOLARSHIP !!
Byju’s, as of what I heard is now a hugely funded big business and I appreciate and value them as a business entity. Same time I feel pity of these kind of ridiculous and unhealthy marketing gimmicks from a business in the field of Education !!
If this message somehow reaches the Byju’s team/Parents/Teachers/Students. I wish so....

The messages that i received was not proper to make me understand this was for data charges?
i didnt get proper messages, do you think if I know DATA usage will be such a huge charge, will i use intentionally?, There was WIFI available, and when there was WIFI not available, automatically the data got used as far as the "DATA" was ON in my mobile, which i didnt noticed.

I already forwarded the messages that i got in my mobile to your Relationship representative in Cochin, Mr. Shibin.

I request you to answer for the following questions. 

1) I activated through website International Roaming online to see the incoming calls, and to receive SMS. "Why you activate the international roaming for DATA by default ? without any my specific request from me?  when there is better packages that you provide. (like 599 international roaming pack with 30 Rupees/1 MB, I am ok to pay such charges. You can notice that I ddint make any calls or SMS i wasin roaming.
2) You are telling my Credit Limit is 3200 INR in one SMS, then why you didn't stop at least when it  reached 3200 INR?, Then what is the rule for stopping 20,000 INR,?
3) I activate internationl roaming to see calls with a flat payment of 149 i think, but you blocked my number even receiving calls after 2 days, without informing me, (i was in jakarta), and i missed 8 days incoming calls, why dont you stop DATA only? bcos other service is i already paid right?, So who will compensate my loss of loosing incoming calls for that days? 
4) This is first time I am using your service after moving to Post Paid by suggesting your marketing executive to reduce the cost. then finally why you are not caring your customer?
5) You can check my usage after i ported from Airtel to you, see my track record, and find how much i used your service, and whether i make any payment issues?
So if i didnt get proper answers for the above questions or take minimum package charges for my usage, like 599 + 37 * 30 = 1709 additional for this usage, I am OK to pay that, even i got many other losses.
If this is not possible, let me check where i can go with my rights, Anyway I am not willing to use your service any more if i didnt get my genuine rights (you already blocked my out going calls facility, even you know i am a privilege customer).
So totally disappointed about your poor customer service, which i have to share my colleagues and friends before they also jump in to such a traps. In my office, recently we took your corporate account also.
So please answer my above questions or let me know to which higher authority i can raise my complaints.

Your answers are not specific to my questions.
Why you activate by default all data services, when you know your charges are  560 rupees /mb (huge amount), where with a package 30 rupees/mb, what type of pricing this?, Why you didn't properly care your customers money and activating data by default, ?? Do you think After knowing thus type of huge charges who will be interested to use data for this price, where with a package the price will be very less. I can say that your intention is not to help your customers.
In the below SMS, I got only the third SMS. And from that I was not clear that the issue was related the data usage ?
Why don't you send SMS with more clarity?, Bcos it is not easy to ca your call center from foreign country.
Anyway, I need to get proper answers for my 5 queries, otherwise I don't want to use your service any more. And will never promote your service among my colleagues or friends. In my office almost 40 people are using and some of them under corporate account also.

Trip to Jakarta

Well it is almost 6 months I am here in Dubai. So once again I need to renew my Visa. So this time I decided to take a vacation (2 weeks in Jakarta and 2 weeks in Kerala).

I got a direct flight from Dubai-Jakarta; it was around 10 hour’s journey. My trip was in Ramzan month and I was fasting also. Two Saudi citizens were sitting next to my seat in the flight. Each time when they ate food they were reminding me to break fasting. I know it is not strict to take fasting during long journey. But I refused No.. No…Nonnono..!!. he..he.. actually I know the time zone between Dubai and Jakarta was 3 hours less, So the fasting time was 3 hours less for me that day, 3 hours saved, eppadi!..

Onam Celebration- “Thottoolku sammanam”


Well I had a chance to attend a Onam celebration function in Dubai with my sisters and relatives. The event are conducted by those who are working in different Medias from Kerala.



The musical chair event for children was very interesting.. Those who fail/out early they will get the prize early. So kids are very happy and rushing to get out from the game

Trip to Muscat- Visa renewal

The maximum stay in UAE with a visting visa is 3 months only. If we need to extend our stay with another Visit Visa we have to go out the country and back. So my company suggested me to make a trip to Muscat(Oman) for the same. I did my trip in Kish Airlines; it was like a formality trip. Dubai-Muscat-Dubai trip with 30 minutes stay in Muscat Airport. We remained in same flight itself.
Eee tripinte Valla avashyavum undooo, UAE Govt. nte oru kaaaryam!!!.

Train Bus

Well Dubai introduced long Bus. I asked many people what I can call this bus. finally I decided to call ‘Train Bus’. Because the seats are allocated face-to-face similar in train.






This bus is connected to GPS (Global Positioning System) also. So it will display the bus route as well as the next stop. But the problem is the stop names are not the names that the common people are using.

Buses In Dubai.

The bus transport facility in Dubai is very good. Now Dubai Govt. decided to buy another 600 buses more to increase their bus transport facility. The fare also reasonable. Few days back one day I was going back to my place from my work place in a Pubic transport bus. Suddenly the AC system of my bus (sorry not mine the bus I was traveling,) got failed and it was really difficult to sit after the AC failure. Because we could not open any of the windows other than one or two. The bus manufactured by Benz. But after 30 minutes the spare bus came from Depo and all passengers moved to the spare bus. The interesting part is even f
ailure the board will display “Out of Service”. There is only driver work as employee in a Bus. The driver itself will give ticket when we get in and the doors also oeprated by him.
